Virtual Medical Secretary has a passion for and expertise in medical administration. We have over 16 years experience in medical administration and senior medical secretary roles.

 

We work on a virtual digital remote basis but can meet locally to Glasgow, for meetings and on-site working. The services offered ensure peace of mind for consultants that the practice is being managed to a high standard. This gives more time for Consultants to focus on the things they do best.

I am Helen English the owner of Virtual Medical Secretary. VMS was created as a vision I had to provide a personal, flexible, remote medical administration and private medical secretary service. I have over 16 years experience in medical administration within the NHS and private sectors. I have the skills, knowledge and passion to run your practice to a high standard.

 

I am professional, approachable and provide a tailored service for every consultant I work with focusing on improving business function. I work closely with each consultant to help achieve business goals and vision for the private practice. The service is fully confidential, I am a member of the ICO, and I follow all GDPR requirements.

 

My loyalty and passion for providing high quality efficient work are important elements in the services I provide. I enjoy the work that I do and take pride in providing the best service for patients. Happy patients will pass that information on to other prospective patients.

 

  • BA (Hons) Leadership and Management at the Open University.

  • Virtual Assistant Coaching & Training (VACT) Mastery Course graduate.

  • Medical Terminology and Information Technology (NC).

  • Over 16 years in NHS in various specialities including neurology, neurosurgery, psychiatry, ophthalmology, ENT.

  • 6+ years medicolegal administration and transcription. 

  • 3 years experience in private hospital administration and secretarial processes.

  • 3 years experience in working for a digital transcription company.
